Description

Antique sterling silver coffee pot by Hamilton & Inches 1898.
Substantial & striking, a bulbous formed coffee pot with class. This coffee pot is plain in detail to the body without decoration, monograms or crests. The base foot is of pedestal form with beaded perimeter. The coffee pot lid is circular with a raised centre, capped with a beaded perimeter finial. The lid is also decorated with a beaded perimeter detailing to visually balance this wonderful coffee pot. A swan necked handle with circular ferrules connecting the handle to the body. The silver coffee pot is assayed to the inside of the lid & body base. The gauge of this silver coffee pot is excellent with proportions perfectly created.

Condition

This antique sterling silver coffee pot is in superb condition. Free from deep scratches & dents with fine surface marks representative of age. Lid is free from play, hinge in good condition & handle tight in ferrules with pins secure. All assay marks clear & crisp, coffee pot sits flat & level.
